In Hitman 3, your mission is to sneakily take out your target, one person at a time, while wearing the disguises of the deceased. Once all of the objectives are finished, you must flee the area quickly and anonymously. However, an impressive speedrunner managed to finish the job in an astonishing 37 seconds by standing atop a building and quickly shooting five people with a handgun.

We should take a moment to recognize how extraordinary this act is. They began in Overpass, baited out their targets by firing off a few bullets, and then stopped a passerby from finding the corpse by shooting coconuts to divert that person’s attention. Subsequently, they stepped up their game and killed the remaining opponents, and then made a daring shot through a tarp, a window and a floor, ultimately eliminating their last target.

Atrioc’s Twitch and YouTube channel saw the hosting and stream of a $1,000 Hitman challenge competition, which featured several participants. Ultimately, the victor was JohnnyAxx (aka punkstarfunk), who ran the game in an impressive 37 seconds.

Atrioc employed davidredsox, one of the leading players of Hitman, to create an extremely arduous mission including five novel enemies situated around one of the biggest spots in the game. The principal goal was to finish it in the shortest period, provided they only had seven days to get ready.

Since this contract had never been done previously since it was one-of-a-kind, they had only a week to find the most productive and imaginative ways to take on the novel issue. No strategies, manuals, or speedruns that had been done before were available - they had to create something completely new.

Despite the difficulty, several competitors got it done, some earning accolades for their creativity and others finishing in the top three. The creative clips are just as amazing as the winners; for instance, MulletPride managed to shoot through multiple groups of people, obstructions, a shrubbery, and a wall in order to make an enemy search, before firing another shot that resulted in an accurate headshot—all with no direct line of sight.

Playing Hitman doesn’t have to be done in 37 seconds - it’s okay to take your time and finish a level in around 30 minutes, which is just as respectable. The game is designed to be a creative sandbox.
