Bayonetta 3 recently got its first big update. The patch includes the typical array of bug fixes, plus several enhancements to the user experience. Viola’s Witch Time has become much simpler to activate and its duration has been extended. Additionally, there’s an improved notification letting the gamer know that Viola’s Witch Time is activated. Obtaining Golem Treasure Chests is also easier, as the time window has been enlarged, and the conditions necessary to clear Niflheim stages have been made less arduous to reduce the difficulty.

Unlocking the secret chapter in Bayonetta 3 has been greatly simplified. This hidden area features a younger version of Bayonetta, or Cereza, placed in a fairy tale environment. It is only accessible after purchasing the Old Picture Book from Rodin’s store and gathering all three of the secret keys located in different chapters. After gathering all three keys, the book will open to reveal the secret chapter.

You don’t have to worry about gathering the three Tricolored Keys any longer with update 1.2. As soon as you get to The Gates Of Hell, you can get the mystery chapter by just buying the Old Picture Book. All the three keys will be provided on the chapter selection screen. If you have acquired some of the keys, the remaining ones will be given on the chapter selection screen.

If you haven’t tried it yet, Bayonetta Origins: Cereaza and the Lost Demon is a sneak peek into an upcoming action adventure game. It was debuted at The Game Awards in December and is a prequel to the three Bayonetta releases. Players will be following the character of Cereaza as she develops her magical powers by traveling across a mystical forest in an effort to save her mother.

Bayonetta Origins releases on March 17th, giving everyone enough time to have a look at the promotional material.
