It looks like the beta test of the much-awaited Kingdom Hearts Missing Link has provided some major spoilers when it comes to the story. This video game was announced by the franchise in April of 2022 and it will be available on mobile devices. The game is set in Scala ad Caelum and it was created to bridge the gap between the other mobile releases, Kingdom Hearts Union X and Dark Road.

Aitaikimochi, an industry insider, reported on Twitter that more information about the Kingdom Hearts Missing Link beta has been revealed. It appears to come from the words of Toro_cocoron0te, a beta tester in Japan. Aitaikimochi stated that the introduction includes a Dive to the Heart sequence. He also shared information regarding the story and keyblades from the beta.

Aitaikimochi investigated the details of the story, observing that there will be “minor pieces of the narrative at the start of the game.” Apparently, Kingdom Hearts Missing Link will “open with a Dive to the Heart imagery featuring Ephemer, Skuld, Chirithy and the Foretellers.” A “meteor shower appears, and once one grabs a star, it changes into a new keyblade.”

The anonymous industry insider disclosed that there are two keyblades currently in the beta test referred to as Fortune Gear and Light Order. Additionally, similar to the mechanics in Union X, the strength of the keyblade plays a role in its aesthetic using progression. Aitaikimochi gave the details.

In the aftermath of reports about the character customization and combat in the game Kingdom Hearts Missing Link, it has now been revealed that players can have a great variety of choices to style their characters including clothes, attitudes, hairstyles, eyeliner, eyeshadow, blush, hair color, and eye color. In terms of combat, they can also switch between two keyblades, one intended for short-range and the other for long-range attack. Additionally, Shotlocks will also be available.
