It looks like WWE 2K23 will be here before we know it as reports suggest it’s going to come out in late March. Apparently, it’ll be unveiled on January 28 when WWE hosts the Royal Rumble.

It looks like Visual Concepts is losing focus on their current WWE 2K22 release, with a March release date that follows the trajectory of past titles in the series. WWE 2K22 came out on March 11 of 2022.

Reported by Mike Straw at Insider Gaming, it appears that WWE 2K23 will be unveiled in San Antonio on January 28. Although this is the same date as the Royal Rumble, it is thought the reveal will occur at its own specific event, and not interfere with the matches.

According to the sources, the announcement will include presentations of people playing the game. It is uncertain whether this will be virtual or just in the form of a live event. Additionally, it was mentioned that a fresh game mode will be revealed but the informant was unable to divulge what it will be.

If our source is accurate about the January 28th announcement, more information may be provided on February 1st as well. Beyond that, however, it is likely we must wait until the end of the month since no definite release date has been revealed outside of the expected March time frame.

At the moment, WWE 2K22 is the most recent version, and you can get it on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Despite this, it might be better to wait a while since it will be superseded in 2021.
