It looks increasingly likely that the GTA Trilogy will make its way to Steam.

More than a year has passed since Rockstar released the Definitive Edition of three of its most iconic Grand Theft Auto games, and the collection is still not available on Steam. Recent evidence suggests that the trilogy could be headed to the platform, with a new bundle added to Steam’s back end as a sign that a release is not far away.

A tweet shared by ‘videotech_’ on Twitter has revealed that the three video games are now included in a single Steam bundle. It appears that soon these titles will be offered on Steam. At this point, users of PC must purchase and play the games through the Rockstar Games Launcher.

Evidence appeared in the Rockstar launcher suggesting that the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition would quickly become accessible on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Although nothing has been confirmed, if the developers do release major updates when the game is released on new PC platforms, people will probably be content.

Rockstar is going to be in a tough spot if they put the upgraded versions of the GTA Trilogy on Steam without any changes; they would be subject to the exact same criticism they experienced when they initially released the games. The opinions that are received from the gaming community on Steam can have a powerful effect; if the game doesn’t get favorable reviews, it could be marked as “mostly negative” on the platform.

Although the grand theft auto trilogy has been modified since its launch, it’s still far from perfect. Luckily, rain doesn’t make it difficult to see farther than three feet ahead, and Carl Johnson’s maxed-out look is much better. It was reported the trio of games would be released on mobile sometime this year, however, there’s been no confirmation of when exactly that will be.
