The initial 2023 seasonal patch for Call of Duty Mobile has been exposed, and it’s a major update. It marks the Year of the Rabbit with a Lunar New Year-influenced Nuketown multiplayer map.

Come January 18th, Call of Duty Mobile will officially launch its first season, labeled Reawakening, starting at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET. The season brings a new battle pass that has a collection of 50 tiers with some free and paid items, comprising of operator skins, weapon blueprints, calling cards, among other things. Particularly noteworthy, is the Dingo light machine gun from Black Ops 3, which can be obtained from the free pass at level 21.

Multiplayer in Call of Duty is taking a fun twist this season! Season 1: Reawakening will feature a new mode called Big Head Blizzard, where players can get more power and expand their health points as they defeat enemies. As they gain energy, they’ll become larger and larger and end up looking like bobblehead characters, packing only a melee weapon!

A Lunar New Year makeover is being given to the Nuketown multiplayer map. It will be redecorated as a metropolitan city in honor of the Year of the Rabbit. The look of the map will incorporate decorations that reflect the festive holiday.

A Lunar New Year upgrade will be applied to Zombies mode’s Super Attack of the Undead mode. Furthermore, Season 1 of Zombies will bring modernized character models, further capabilities to the infected and rescuers, and incorporation of extra maps.

Two fresh areas of interest have been declared for the Isolated map in battle royale. People are able to go to the Ecology Lab site and communicate with the computers in the greenhouses to get in-game items. The brand-new T-3 Refinery will include a tube that produces an updraft to elevate players out and over the building, granting them the capacity to instantly move around the map.

The Isolated map’s seasonal update is giving players two new ways to get loot. Players can encounter the R.A.B.T. Robot, which takes the shape of a rabbit, at random places throughout the map, and afterward, will have loot for the player. You can also shoot down Loot Balloons, which are Chinese New Year-themed balloons scattered around different parts of the map, to get rewards.

Activision revealed that Season 1 of their game will feature a new currency known as Reawakening. This currency will be available for a limited time and may be earned as part of the game. It can be used in a newly opened marketplace during both Season 1 and part of Season 2.

Gamers can expect a lot of new content with the commencement of Season 1: Reawakening of Call of Duty Mobile, such as seasonal challenges, featured events, shop packages and much more.
